AIR52 is the second installment by Southpaw from her instrumental works entitled beats by area code.
This second tape focuses on the natural sounds surrounding her as a child growing up in the suburb of Belair, 5052. Foley has been recorded around the train line that ran down the back of Southpaw's home, the local park and atmosphere from the streets.

'The aim of this series is to add nostalgic references in hopes to explore and even more direct story for listeners to transcend them to a small suburb in the Adelaide hills surrounded by a very hip-hop, graffiti orientated culture, and how that has translated into the music I make today.' Southpaw.
Layered with her usual off-beat percussion and rich chords. AIR52 is a 20-minute tape recommended to play in full as 1 long interchanging story.
